Jim is a business process expert and sales and marketing technologist focused on increasing profitability through the automation and integration of marketing, sales, customer service, and accounting.
Jim has over 15 years of experience in business process management and customer experience technology. He has been administering business software, including Salesforce.com, and consulting with companies on business process improvement, sales, and marketing since 2003.
Prior to starting Growth Heroes, Jim was a business advisor to tech companies at the Purdue Research Park. There he spent time helping companies launch their sales and marketing operations, including the proper use of CRM, email marketing, and lead tracking. Before that he led Seyet, a life sciences simulation company, as a co-founder and Director of Marketing and Sales. At Seyet, Jim consulted with clients including Johnson & Johnson, Dow AgroSciences, DePuy Orthopaedics, and other life sciences companies.
Jim is a board member of the Venture Club and previously was involved in running the Hoosier Healthcare Innovation Challenge, The Indiana Biomedical Entrepreneurship Network, and Startup Weekend.

Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist assists in the planning, execution, and optimization of online marketing efforts for Growth Heroes and a few B2B clients. This individual will research and organize topics and content pillars for blog articles and social media posts. This position will focus on writing, managing content calendars, optimizing digital ad campaigns, and updating several WordPress based websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and designer to create new content
- Write long-form content including blogs, case studies, white papers, guidebooks
- Write short-form content including social media captions, email copy, press releases, sales enablement materials, one-pagers, and content journey maps
- Prepare and plan content for a variety of automated email drip campaigns driven from in-depth customer data

The Salesforce Consultant is a key, advanced, and highly technical support role who delivers declarative Salesforce solutions to multiple clients. This individual enables customers to meet their digital business needs through streamlined automation. The part of a team that supports multiple projects concurrently. We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Consultant to drive the planning, execution and optimization of online marketing efforts for our company and several clients.
If you love marketing automation with WordPress, Pardot, Google Ads, and Salesforce to track ROAS and help 2-4 clients with their campaigns and strategy, we are looking for a great new team member. Position Summary
The Salesforce Developer plays a key role in building customized solutions to support critical business functions and meet client objectives and project requirements. This is a small 2-3 person development team. This position will spend the majority of the day on architecture, solutioning, and development in collaboration with Salesforce Consultants and Admins to deliver customer requirements. This role will also be responsible for maintaining Git repositories and the overall deployment process for projects they are involved in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery and deployment of Salesforce customizations with Agile methodologies
- Design and solve technical challenges with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), ensuring high-quality code with meaningful test coverage

Position Summary
The Salesforce Solution Architect / Senior Consultant is a key, client-facing role who identifies pain points and creates solutions to optimize client business processes. This individual will be given the opportunity to help customers meet their digital business needs through streamlined automation using salesforce.com solutions. This position will be responsible for 2-4 client projects at a time and manage 2-4 team members working on the same projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Guiding clients to appropriate solutions as a trusted advisor
- Leads requirements development sessions to understand the client’s current state and desired future state
- Manage delivery and deployment of Salesforce customizations with agile methodologies and delegation to team members

Position Summary
The Salesforce Developer plays a key role in building customized solutions to support critical business functions and meet client objectives and project requirements. This is a small 2-3 person development team. This position will spend the majority of the day on architecture, solutioning, and development in collaboration with Salesforce Consultants and Admins to deliver customer requirements. This role will also be responsible for maintaining Git repositories and the overall deployment process for projects they are involved in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery and deployment of Salesforce customizations with Agile methodologies
- Design and solve technical challenges with Apex and Lighting Web Components, ensuring high-quality code with meaningful test coverage
- Communicate with internal team members / coordinate with Project Managers
- Collaborate with other developers and participate in code reviews
- Leverage CI/CD automation to speed up the delivery process and improve code quality
- Determine with PMs when code vs. declarative configuration is worth it
Outcomes/Measures of Success over the next 12 months
- Increase code quality scores with PMD and Codacy, achieving or maintaining an A, with no Performance, Security or Error Prone warnings
- Maintain and increase code test coverage, keeping all net new code at 90-100%
- Reduce and standardize the time it takes to create code with reusable patterns and extending our internal code framework
- Estimate effort and deliver code based solutions within time promised
Competencies Desired

- Accustomed to being in a fully remote Agile Salesforce.com development team
